hursday, April 4, 2013, marked the 45th Commemoration Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination. On this day, the Baltimore City Youth Commission hosted the “We Are the Dream” Awards Ceremony. The “We Are the Dream” Award recognizes young people between the ages of 18-30, in the City of Baltimore who serve the community and emulate Dr. King’s dream and passion of empowering the community.
Our very own Aziz Housseini was given the award based on his outstanding work in real-estate development in the city.
This award signifies the importance of honoring our young people for their contributions to society, in addition to changing the stigma that is often placed on Baltimore City youth by creating a new positive image.
