The Druid Heights Gateway Housing Development Project will target existing vacant buildings for rehabilitation between the 1800 – 2200 blocks of McCulloh Street and Druid Hill Avenue. These streets serve as the main entry and exit points in the community. The first phase will rehabilitate 25 buildings including 15 units for home ownership and 10 units as rental properties. The Gateway project will include green technologies building materials that will improve energy efficiency and environmental conservation goals.
