In an effort to increase the beautification of the Druid Heights neighborhood, Mrs. Willie Mae Turner, a resident of the 1800 Block of Druid Hill Avenue, kindly planted flowers in front of the community center. Mrs. Turner is a member of the Druid Heights Green Thumb Club. The next club meeting will take place immediately following the community meeting on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Persons interested in joining the Green Thumb Club can register at the community meeting. The community appreciates and values the generosity of residents like Mrs. Turner.
