Environmental Stewardship

The community’s response to bulk trash and removal of debris is now handled by a team of environmental stewards. These dedicated men oversee the cleanliness, beautification and recycling of the community. Each day, we make several trips to the dump- site to eliminate bulk trash. DHCDC works hand in hand with the City Inspectors to monitor and control illegal dumping in the community. To date, the team in partnership with OYO Traditions Cultural Arts Institute has set fifteen newly decorated tree-wells in the community. After the frost, the team plans to plant flowers and trees throughout Druid Heights.
