The Board of Directors and staff at Druid Heights Community Development Corporation would like express our sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Laura Scott. Mrs. Scott was born on August 23, 1927 and departed this life on December 27, 2013.
She was an outstanding community resident who resided in Druid Heights for more than fifty years. Mrs. Scott served as the Co-Chair of the 2000 Etting Street Willing Workers Club. In this position, she provided school supplies and back packs for children. Mrs. Scott was a friendly, motherly, warm hearted person with a great sense of humor and a very fashionable style. Mrs. Laura Scott will be sorely missed and remembered for a very long time for her care and contributions to her community.
